Around the circumference near the rim runs the text: ВСЕѦ РWССIИ САМОДЕРЖЕЦЪ. The coin's rim is made of dots.
  • Obverse
    The center of the obverse is occupied by the coat of arms of the Russian Empire — a double-headed eagle. Both heads of the eagle bear crowns, and a third, larger crown is placed between them. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left, an orb. Around the eagle is the inscription: ЦРЬ ПЕТРЬ АЛЕѯIЕВИЧЪ. The rim consists of dots.
