    In the central part of the reverse is a relief image of the coat of arms of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, around the circumference is text: at the top – 'RUSSIAN FEDERATION', at the bottom – 'REPUBLIC OF NORTH OSSETIA-ALANIA'.
  • Obverse
    At the top along the edge of the coin are the words BANK OF RUSSIA, at the bottom the year of mintage '2013'. On the left side is an olive branch, and on the right an oak branch. Both branches slightly overlap the central insert. In the central part, the denomination is indicated – the number '10', and below it the currency unit – 'RUBLES'. Inside the digit '0', depending on the viewing angle, one can see the inscriptions '10' and 'RUB'. Above the mintage year is the mintmark 'SPMD' (Saint Petersburg Mint).
