    The central part of the reverse features a relief image of the Monument to David of Sasun. Below it, the text 'YEREVAN' is struck. To the left of the pedestal is the date '1959', with a decorative vignette beneath it. At the top, along the outer rim of the coin, is the semicircular inscription 'MONUMENT TO DAVID OF SASUN'.
