Below the inscription is a decorative divider in the form of two ornamental lines with a small dot between them. Slightly below the ornamental divider is the coin's year of mintage 1840, under which is the abbreviation E.M. (Ekaterinburg Mint). The entire edge of the coin is stamped with raised dots.
