Reverse

In the central part of the reverse are relief images of a soldier and the outline of a five-pointed star, transitioning from the core to the ring. In the upper part of the ring, along the circumference, is the text: 55 YEARS OF THE GREAT VICTORY; in the lower part are the dates '1941' and '1945'.

Obverse

At the top along the rim of the coin are the words BANK OF RUSSIA; at the bottom is the year of issue '2000'. On the left side is an olive branch, and on the right an oak branch. Both branches slightly overlap the central insert. In the central part, the denomination is indicated — the number '10', and below it the currency unit — 'RUBLES'. Inside the digit '0', depending on the viewing angle, one can see the inscriptions '10' and 'RUB'. Above the year of issue is the mint mark 'SPMD' (Saint Petersburg Mint).
