Reverse
In the central part of the reverse are relief images of a soldier and the outline of a five-pointed star, transitioning from the disc to the ring. In the upper part of the ring along the circumference is the text: 55 YEARS OF THE GREAT VICTORY; in the lower part are the dates '1941' and '1945'.
Obverse
At the top along the edge of the coin are the words BANK OF RUSSIA; at the bottom is the year of mintage '2000'. On the left side is an olive branch, and on the right an oak branch. Both branches slightly overlap the central insert. In the central part, the denomination is indicated - the number '10', and below it the monetary unit - 'RUBLES'. Inside the digit '0', depending on the viewing angle, one can see the inscriptions '10' and 'RUB'. Above the mintage year is the mint mark 'MMD' (Moscow Mint).
