    In a cartouche on the right, against the background of the house-museum, is a portrait of P.I. Tchaikovsky; below is a two-line inscription: 'TCHAIKOVSKY'S HOUSE IN VOTKINSK'. At the top, on a matted cartouche with an ornament, is an eight-pointed solar sign and a circumferential inscription: 'UDMURTIA'.

    In the upper part, along the rim arc, is the coin's denomination 'THREE RUBLES'. Slightly lower on the left are the metal designation from Mendeleev's periodic table, Ag, and the fineness 925. In the central part of a characteristic dotted circle is a double-headed eagle, and below it is the inscription of the coin's issuer 'BANK OF RUSSIA'.
