    The central part features a two-line inscription: ГРИВЕННИКЪ (GRIVENNIK). Above the inscription are 10 raised counting dots arranged in two rows of five. The dots denote (duplicate) the coin's denomination. Below the inscription are two straight lines. Beneath them is the mintage year: 1735.
  • Obverse
    The center of the obverse is occupied by a simplified version of the coat of arms of the Russian Empire — the traditional double-headed eagle, executed without complex elements. Both heads of the eagle bear crowns, and a larger third crown is positioned above between the heads. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left, an orb.
