    In the central part, within a wreath of fleur-de-lis, is depicted the lesser coat of arms of the King of Spain - a cross, with two lions and two castles in its quarters. The rim is decorated with raised, decorative denticles.

    In the central part - the right-facing profile of Ferdinand VII. To the left of it is the mint mark of Jubia: "J", to the right - the numeral: "8". Along the upper edge of the coin is a Latin inscription: "FERDIN·VII·D·G·HISP·REX" - "FERDINAND VII BY THE GRACE OF GOD KING OF SPAIN", below - the year of issue: "1823".
