Reverse
In the central part, within a wreath of fleur-de-lis, is depicted the lesser coat of arms of the King of Spain - a cross, with two lions and two castles in its quarters. Decorative raised denticles are placed along the rim.
Obverse
In the central part - the right-facing profile of Charles III. To the left of it - the mintmark of the Madrid Mint - the letter: "M" with a crown, to the right - the numeral: "8". To the left and right along the edge is the Latin legend: "CAROLUS·III·D·G·HISP·REX" - "CHARLES III BY THE GRACE OF GOD KING OF SPAIN", below - the year of issue: "1787".
