Reverse

Along the upper edge arc, the aircraft name 'Supermarine Spitfire' in English 'SPITFIRE'. In the central part of the reverse, a relief image of a group of aircraft in flight over a cityscape. Below them, a two-line inscription '10 TEN / DOLLARS' (Eng.) — 'ten dollars'.

Obverse

In the central part, the coat of arms of the Republic of the Marshall Islands is depicted, consisting of a round disc with an angel framed by two interlocking chains. Along the outer edge of the disc, the state name in English 'REPUBLIC OF THE MARSHALL ISLANDS' at the top, and the motto in Marshallese 'JEPILPILIN KE EJUKAAN' at the bottom, translating to 'Accomplishment Through Joint Effort'. Two rays emanate upward from the angel's head, between which a twenty-four-pointed star is placed. Above the angel's wings: on the right, a fishing net; on the left, a shell tool. Below the wings: on the right, a canoe; on the left, coconut palms. Below the angel is an image of a traditional Marshallese navigational chart in perspective, beneath it the inscription on a ribbon 'Seal'. Outside the outer chain, to the left of the disc, the sign $10 — 'ten dollars' is placed, and to the right, the year of mintage '1991'.
