In the central part, within a wreath of fleur-de-lis, the lesser coat of arms of the King of Spain is depicted - a cross, with two lions and two castles in its quarters. Decorative raised denticles are placed along the rim.
Obverse
In the central part - the right-facing profile of Ferdinand VII. To its left is the mint mark of Jubia: "M", to its right - the numeral: "4". Along the upper edge, the Latin legend reads: "D·G·HISP·REX FERDIN·VII" - "BY THE GRACE OF GOD, KING OF SPAIN, FERDINAND VII", below - the year of minting: "1832".
