Obverse In the central part - the right-facing profile of Charles IV. To the left of it is the mintmark of the Madrid Mint: "M", to the right - the numeral: "1". To the left and right along the edge is Latin text: "CAROLUS·IIII·D·G·HISP·REX" - "CHARLES IV BY THE GRACE OF GOD KING OF SPAIN", below - the year of minting: "1802".
