Reverse

In the central part of the reverse is a relief image of one of the chimeras from the House with Chimeras building, with its name in Ukrainian along the bottom and right rim: «БУДИНОК З ХИМЕРАМИ». To the left is the contour of this building, featuring a vertical facsimile of the architect's signature.

Obverse

In the central part is a portrait of architect Vladyslav Horodetsky in a coat and hat, with the House with Chimeras in Kyiv to his left. Below the building is the inscription in Ukrainian: «5 ГРИВЕНЬ» - 5 hryvnias. Along the rim are: on the left, the mintmark of the Kyiv Mint; on the left, top, and right, separated by the Coat of Arms of Ukraine, the inscription: «НАЦIОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ», which translates to 'National Bank of Ukraine'; on the right, the year of issue 2013; at the bottom, the life years 1863-1930 and the architect's surname: «В. ГОРОДЕЦЬКИЙ».
