    Along the upper edge of the coin from left to right are the words '500TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE UNIFIED RUSSIAN STATE'. In the center is the Church of the Archangel Gabriel in Moscow. To the left is the year of the church's construction '1707'. To the right is an iconographic image of the archangel. At the bottom, along the rim, the words are separated by the church's corner: on the left 'CHURCH', on the right 'OF THE ARCHANGEL GABRIEL'.
