    In the central part, Elizabeth II is depicted facing left, seated on a throne, holding a sceptre in her right hand and an orb in her left. To the left is a crown, around which is the English text 'THE QUEEN GOLDEN JUBILEE'. Around the circumference along the rim are inscriptions in English: at the bottom in two lines - '1 CROWN', flanked on both sides by a moresque pattern; at the top - 'GOLDEN JUBILEE OF QUEEN ELIZABETH II', flanked on the left by the year Elizabeth ascended the throne - '1952', and on the right by the year of the fiftieth anniversary of her reign - '2002'. Below the image on the left are the Latin letters 'PM' - the mint mark of Pobjoy Mint, Surrey, United Kingdom.

    In the center is the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom wearing a crown. In the truncation of the portrait are the initials of the British sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley - 'IRB'. Around the edge of the coin are inscriptions in English: on the left, the monarch's name 'ELIZABETH II'; on the right, the name of the British Crown Dependency 'ISLE OF MAN' and the year of issue '2002'. At the beginning of each inscription is the heraldic symbol of the Isle of Man – a triskelion. Along the rim are decorative raised denticles.
