Reverse

In the central part of the reverse is a relief depiction of the royal carriage surrounded by guardsmen. To its right, within a cartouche, is a phased portrait of Elizabeth II; above her is the Crown of the British Empire, framed by an inscription in English: 'THE QUEEN’S GOLDEN JUBILEE'. Along the arc of the lower edge is a two-line inscription in English: '1 KROWN', and from left to right: '1952 GOLDEN JUBILEE OF QUEEN ELIZABETH II 2002'.

Obverse

In the central part is the right-facing profile of Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. In the truncation of the neck are the letters 'IRB' - the initials of the designer Ian Rank-Broadley. In the left part, along the arc of the coin's edge, is the text in English: 'ELIZABETH II'; on the right is the country name and year of issue: 'GIBRALTAR 2002'. The coin's edge features relief elements in the form of denticles.
