    The field is divided by an arc into two unequal sectors, with the smaller left sector forming a crescent. The upper half of the right sector features an ornament executed in national traditions. In the central part is the Khan Uzbek Mosque in Staryi Krym (Old Crimea). To the left of the mosque is a two-line inscription in Ukrainian: «700 РОКIВ» (700 Years). Along the edge of the coin is the inscription: «Старый Крым. Мечеть Хана Узбека и медресе» in Tatar: «ESKI QIRIM. ÖZBEK HAN CAMISI VE MEDRESE» and in Ukrainian: «МЕЧЕТЬ ХАНА УЗБЕКА I МЕДРЕСЕ».

To the left, top, and right along the rim, separated by the Coat of Arms of Ukraine, is the inscription in Ukrainian: «НАЦIОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ» (National Bank of Ukraine).
