ET PERP.BRAS.DEF" - "PEDRO II BY THE GRACE OF GOD CONSTITUTIONAL EMPEROR AND PERPETUAL DEFENDER OF BRAZIL", below - the year of minting: "1875". Decorative raised denticles are arranged along the rim.
