    In the central part, the numeral 5 within a circle. Around it are the nine coats of arms of the Federal States of Austria: Vienna, Burgenland, Upper Austria, Vorarlberg, Carinthia, Styria, Lower Austria, Salzburg, Tyrol. The coats of arms are positioned with their base towards the center, forming a sunburst pattern. Along the edge of the coin are inscriptions in German: on the left, top, and right the country name 'REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH' (Republic of Austria), at the bottom the inscription 'EURO', each side flanked by a dot.
  • Obverse
    In the central part, a section of the Golden Hall of the Society of Music Friends in Vienna with the Great Organ is depicted. To the right, a straight column – a caryatid – is shown. In the lower part, along the edge of the coin, is an inscription in German: '∙GESELLSCHAFT∙DER∙MUSKFREUNDE∙IN∙WIEN∙' (Society of Music Friends in Vienna) and the years of the Society's existence '∙1812-2012∙'.
