In the upper part of the field, a two-line inscription 'EIN KREUTZER' (One Kreuzer). In the lower part, the mint year '1780∙', below it the Latin letter 'S∙. The inscriptions are framed by crossed branches tied with a ribbon: on the right a laurel branch, on the left a palm branch. Decorative raised denticles along the edge of the coin.

In the center, the right-facing profile of Holy Roman Emperor Joseph II wearing a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon. Along the arc of the coin's edge, Latin text: left and right 'IOSEPHUS∙II∙D∙G∙R∙I∙S∙A∙GER∙IER∙R∙' (Joseph II, by the Grace of God, Holy Roman Emperor, King of Germany and Jerusalem). Denticles along the rim.
