In the central part, the numeral 50. Above and below it, the name of the currency unit 'Para' is written horizontally in two languages: Serbian 'ПАРА' and Slovenian 'PARA'. Below is the year of minting '1994'. Along the edge of the coin are elements in the form of dots.
Obverse
In the center, within a square, is the emblem of the National People's Bank of Yugoslavia 'JHB'. On either side of the emblem, the country name 'Socialist Republic of Yugoslavia' is inscribed in a semicircle: above in Slovenian 'SR JUGOSLAVIJA', below in Serbian 'СР ЈУГОСЛАВИЈА'. The edge of the coin features elements in the form of dots.
