    In the center is the right-facing profile of Holy Roman Emperor Joseph II, wearing a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon. Along the arc of the coin's edge is a Latin inscription: left and right 'IOS∙II∙D∙G∙R∙I∙S∙A∙GER∙IER∙REX∙' (Joseph II, by the Grace of God, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, King of Germany and Jerusalem). Denticles along the rim.
