    In the central part, a Baroque-style heraldic shield with a crown above it. The shield bears the coat of arms of the Archduchy of Austria. Below, in a cartouche, the numeral 1 divides the mint year '1759' into two parts: '17' on the left and '59' on the right. The edge of the coin features decorative raised denticles.

    In the center is the right-facing profile of Archduchess of Austria Maria Theresa Walburga Amalia Christina. Along the arc of the coin's edge is a Latin inscription: on the left and right 'M∙THERES∙D∙G∙R∙I∙GE∙HU∙BO∙REG' (Maria Theresa, by the Grace of God, Roman Empress, Queen of Germany, Hungary, Bohemia). Denticles run along the rim.
