On the left, top, and right, the country name and year of minting 'Republic of Portugal - 1927' in Portuguese 'REPUBLICA PORTUGUESA - 1927', below the inscription 'Angola' - 'ANGOLA' framed by a pattern of dots. In the truncation of the portrait, the artist's mark Alves do Rego – 'Rego GR'. Around the edge of the coin, raised dot-like elements.
