    In the central part, a three-line inscription: '10 EURO CENT'. To the left of the inscription is the outline of Europe, from which six vertical rays extend upwards and six downwards. Along the arc of the left edge of the coin, crossing these rays, are twelve five-pointed stars. To the right of the inscription is the monogram 'LL' - the mark of the engraver Luc Luycx.

    In the central part, the right-facing profile of Grand Duke Henri. On the truncation of the Duke's shoulder is the monogram: 'CG' - the mark of the engraver Yvette Gastauer-Claire. To the left of the portrait, the year of mintage 2002 is arranged in a semicircle, flanked left and right by the mint master's mark and mint mark. In the left part, along the edge arc, the name of the state Luxembourg in Luxembourgish: 'LËTZEBUERG'. Above, to the right and left along the rim are twelve five-pointed stars.
