    The central part of the reverse features a relief image of the Alexander Column. Below the monument is the denomination designation — the inscription '1. RUBLE'. On the left, a two-line inscription in a semicircle: 'ALEKSANDRU | PERVOMU' (To Alexander the First); a similar inscription on the right: 'BLAGODARNAYA | ROSSIA 1834.' (Grateful Russia 1834). The rim is decorated with denticles.

    The center of the obverse is occupied by the right-facing profile of Alexander I. In the truncation of the neck are the initials of the medallist A. I. Gube 'GUBE F.' — (engraved by Gube). Around the portrait, along the rim, the text: ALEKSANDR PERVYI B. M. IMPERATOR VSEROS. (Alexander the First, by God's grace Emperor of All Russia). The rim is decorated with denticles.
