    In the central part, a portrait of Brigadier General of the Polish Army Stanisław Franciszek Sosabowski. To the left of the portrait, the general's years of life '1892-1967'; to the right, the Polish parachutist badge, on his chest the Commander's Cross. To the left, the designer's mark of Robert Kotowicz - 'R'. Along the edge of the coin, an inscription in Polish: 'GEN. BRIG. STANISŁAW F. SOSABOWSKI' (Brigadier General Stanisław F. Sosabowski).

    Along the rim, inscriptions in Polish: at the top, the country name 'RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA' (REPUBLIC OF POLAND); at the bottom, the inscription 'ZŁ 2 ZŁ' (two zlotych) framed by five dots on each side. In the central part is the Polish state eagle, dividing the mint year '2004' into two parts: '20' on the left and '04' on the right. Under the eagle's right claw is the mint mark of the Polish Mint.
