The central part, within a circle of yellow metal, features facing portraits of Grand Duke Henri, Belgian Countess Stéphanie de Lannoy, and Grand Duke Guillaume, executed with fine hatching. Below them is a three-line inscription in Luxembourgish: 'PRËNZENHOCHZÄIT', which translates to 'Princess'; the name of the state of Luxembourg - 'LËTZEBUERG' and the year of minting 2012 with the marks of the mint master and the Utrecht Mint (Netherlands) on either side. The edge of the coin features twelve five-pointed stars.
