    In the central part, a human footprint in the upper section and a stylized depiction of the Earth with a starry sky above it in the lower section. Along the upper edge of the coin, the Italian text "L'ORMA DEI VELENI DELL'UOMO" (The Poisonous Traces of Man) and the artist's mark of Jorio Vivarelli "J. Vivarelli".
  • Obverse
    In the center, within a circle, is a part of the coat of arms of San Marino: three towers on the peaks of Mount Titano, each topped with an ostrich feather (extending beyond the circle). Below them is the inscription "L. 10" (10 lire), and further below the engraver's surname Guerrino Mattia Monassi – "Monassi". Along the rim, the country name "Republic of San Marino" is split into two parts: left "REPUBBLICA", right "DI SAN MARINO". Below is the year of issue "1977", flanked on both sides by a dot. All inscriptions are in Italian.
