At the top, the coat of arms of Yugoslavia. It features a heraldic shield with a double-headed eagle, on whose chest is a quarterly shield. Below is the number 50. On either side, the name of the currency unit 'Para' is written horizontally in two languages: Serbian 'ПАРА' and Slovenian 'PARA'.
Obverse
In the center is a left-facing profile of a woman wearing a laurel wreath. On either side of the image, the country name 'Socialist Republic of Yugoslavia' is inscribed in a semicircle: on the left in Slovenian 'SR JUGOSLAVIJA', on the right in Serbian 'СР ЈУГОСЛАВИЈА'. The inscriptions are framed by a dot-like element. Below is the year of minting '2000'.
