Reverse

The central part of the reverse features a relief illustration for the opera 'Bastien and Bastienne'. In the center stands the village magician Colas in a pointed hat, holding a sphere in his left hand. To his left is the shepherd Bastien with flowers, and to his right is the shepherdess Bastienne holding a lamb. Below, in two lines, is the title of the musical work in German: 'Bastien und Bastienne' (Bastien and Bastienne).

Obverse

The left part features the right-facing profile of the Austrian composer Johann Chrysostom Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart as a child. Below is a facsimile of the musician's signature and the mint year '2015'. The right part shows a stylized depiction of a musical staff and the inscription '20 EURO' (20 euro).
