In the central part, a cartouche containing a two-line inscription in German 'EIN KREUTZER' (One Kreuzer), below it the year of mintage '1772∙', and beneath that the Latin letter 'W.'. The edge of the coin features decorative raised denticles.
Obverse
Centered is the right-facing profile of Archduchess of Austria Maria Theresa Walburga Amalia Christina. Along the edge of the coin is a Latin text in an arc: to the right and left 'M∙THERESIA∙D∙G∙R∙I∙H∙B∙R∙A∙AUST∙' (Maria Theresa, by the Grace of God, Roman Empress, Queen of Hungary and Bohemia, Archduchess of Austria). Denticles run along the rim.
