In the upper part of the field, a three-line inscription '1/2∙KREUTZER∙' (1/2 Kreuzer). In the lower part, the year of mintage '1780∙', below it the Latin letter 'W' - the mint mark of Vienna. The inscriptions are framed by crossed branches tied with a ribbon: on the right a laurel branch, on the left a palm branch. Decorative raised denticles along the edge of the coin.

In the center is the right-facing profile of Archduchess of Austria Maria Theresa Walburga Amalia Christina. Along the arc of the coin's edge, text in Latin: on the right and left 'M∙THERESIA∙D∙G∙R∙I∙HU∙BO∙R∙A∙A∙' (Maria Theresa, by the Grace of God, Roman Empress, Queen of Hungary and Bohemia, Archduchess of Austria). Denticles along the rim.
