Centered is a stylized state symbol of the Federal Republic of Germany: a heraldic eagle facing left with wings spread. Below the eagle are horizontal inscriptions in German: the inscription '10 EURO', below it the country name in two lines 'BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND' (FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY), and further below the metal and its fineness 'SILBER 625' (Silver 625). At the top is the year of mintage '2015', below it the Latin letter 'F' – the mint mark of the Stuttgart Mint. To the left and right along the rim are twelve stars – the stars of the European Union, six on each side.
