    Along the upper edge, the aircraft name 'B-17 FLYING FORTRESS' in English. In the central part of the reverse, a relief image of two flying aircraft. To their left, a two-line inscription '10 TEN / DOLLARS' (Eng.) — 'ten dollars'.
  • Obverse
    In the central part, the coat of arms of the Republic of the Marshall Islands is depicted, consisting of a round disc with an angel framed by two interlocking chains. Along the outer edge of the disc, the state name in English 'REPUBLIC OF THE MARSHALL ISLANDS' at the top, and the motto in Marshallese 'JEPILPILIN KE EJUKAAN' at the bottom, translating to 'Accomplishment Through Joint Effort'. Two rays emanate upward from the angel's head, between which is a twenty-four-pointed star. Above the angel's wings: on the right, a fishing net; on the left, a shell tool. Below the wings: on the right, a canoe; on the left, coconut palms. Below the angel is an image of a traditional Marshallese navigational chart in perspective, beneath it the inscription on a ribbon 'Seal'. Below the outer chain, to the left of the disc, the sign $10 — 'ten dollars' is placed, and to the right, the year of mintage '1991'.
