    The central part of the reverse features a relief image of a woman (St. Mary) holding an infant. Along the arc of the left and right edge of the coin is the inscription: «PATRONA.HVNG.1830.S.MARIA.MATER.DEI.», which translates to: «Saint Mary Mother of God, Patroness of Hungary». 1830 is the year of minting. The edge of the coin has a decorative raised pattern of square denticles.

    The central part features the right-facing profile of King Franz II (known as Franz I in Austria, Bohemia, and Hungary) wearing a laurel wreath.
