    In the central part is a double-headed eagle with spread wings; the eagle's heads are in a halo, above them a crown, on its chest the crowned coat of arms of Tyrol. On either side of the eagle's tail feathers are Latin letters: on the left 'V∙C∙', on the right 'S∙'. Below, in a cartouche, the number 20. The cartouche is framed on the right by a palm branch and on the left by a laurel branch. Along the edge of the coin are inscriptions in Latin: on the right and left 'ARCHID∙AUST∙DUX∙BURG∙CO∙TYR∙1778∙' (Archduchess of Austria, Duchess of Burgundy, Countess of Tyrol 1778). At the end of the legend is a mark in the shape of the Latin letter 'X'. The edge is decorated with decorative teeth.

    In the center, within a circle formed by semicircular palm and laurel branches, is the right-facing profile of Archduchess of Austria Maria Theresa Walburga Amalia Christina. The branches are tied at the bottom with a ribbon forming a bow. Along the edge of the coin is text in Latin: on the right and left 'M∙THERESIA∙D:G∙R∙IMP∙HU∙BO∙REG∙' (Maria Theresa, by the Grace of God, Roman Empress, Queen of Hungary and Bohemia). The coin's rim features decorative raised teeth.
