Reverse

In the central part is a double-headed eagle with spread wings; the eagle's heads are in a halo, with a crown above them. On either side of the eagle's tail feathers are Latin letters: on the left 'V.C', on the right 'S∙'. Below, in a cartouche, the number 10. The cartouche is framed on the right by a palm branch and on the left by a laurel branch. Along the arc of the coin's edge are Latin inscriptions: on the right and left 'ARCHID∙AUST∙DUX∙BURG∙CO∙TYR∙1778∙' (Archduchess of Austria, Duchess of Burgundy, Countess of Tyrol 1778). At the end of the legend is a mark in the shape of the Latin letter 'X'. The edge is decorated with decorative denticles.

Obverse

In the center, within a circle formed by semicircular palm and laurel branches, is the profile portrait of Archduchess of Austria Maria Theresa Walburga Amalia Christina. The branches are tied at the bottom with a ribbon forming a bow. Along the arc of the coin's edge is a Latin text: on the right and left 'M∙THERESIA∙D: G∙R∙IMP∙HU∙BO∙REG∙' (Maria Theresa by the Grace of God Roman Empress, Queen of Hungary and Bohemia). The edge of the coin features decorative raised denticles.
