Reverse
The reverse features a symbolic composition: a stylized fragment of a bandura with its strings, to the right – a wreath above which is the inscription: "POVIY, VITRE, NA VKRAYINU..." (Blow, Wind, onto Ukraine...). Around the circumference is the text: "UKRAINIAN BANDURIST CAPELLA OF NORTH AMERICA NAMED AFTER TARAS SHEVCHENKO, VYTOKY • KOBZAR CHORUS • 1918".

On a mirrored background is the inscription "UKRAINE", below which is the small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine, flanked by the years "1918" and "2018"; on a relief background is the coin's denomination – "5 HRYVEN"; below it is a stylized composition: seven banduras against a floral ornament; around the circumference are the inscriptions: "VYTOKY • KOBZAR CHORUS" (above); "NATIONAL HONORED BANDURIST CAPELLA OF UKRAINE NAMED AFTER H. I. MAIBORODA"; the logo of the Banknote and Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (on the left).
