    Along the lower edge arc, the inscription in Polish 'DZIEJE ZLOTEGO', which translates as 'History of the Zloty'. In the central part on the right, an image of the reverse of the 5 Zlotych 1928 coin depicting the goddess of victory Nike walking to the right on clouds.

    Along the upper edge arc, the name of the country, the Republic of Poland, in Polish 'RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA'. Below, the inscription 'zt 2 zt', meaning 'two zlotych'. Left and right are chains of raised dot-like elements. In the central part, the image of the national coat of arms: a crowned eagle with wings spread and raised upwards. Its head is turned to the left. The eagle's claws split the year of issue '2007' in half.
