    The central part features a panorama of the city of Torun from the bank of the Vistula River. Along the edge of the coin is an inscription in Polish, at the top: "MIASTO SREDNIOWIECZNE", at the bottom: "W TORUNIU", which translates to: "MEDIEVAL TOWN OF TORUN".
  • Obverse
    At the top, along the edge of the coin, is the text in Polish: "RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA" - "REPUBLIC OF POLAND". The central part depicts the country's coat of arms - an eagle. To the left of the eagle is the number "20", to the right - "07", together forming the mintage year - 2007. At the bottom is the numeral - "2". To the left and right of the numeral are two zloty symbols: "zł".
