In the central part of the reverse, a relief image of a mechanical rooster against a starry sky. Above it, the Chinese character: "鸡", meaning rooster. Along the arc of the lower edge, against a background of gears, an inscription in Belarusian in two lines: "ГОД ПЕЎНЯ" - Year of the Rooster.
Obverse
In the central part, within a circle, a composition consisting of elements of a clockwork mechanism, the Sun and the Moon; at the center of the clockwork is a cubic zirconia insert. Around the composition are the numbers: 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024, denoting the years included in one cycle of the Chinese Lunar calendar. To the left, top, and right along the rim, the country name in Belarusian: "РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" - Republic of Belarus, separated by the small coat of arms of Belarus; at the bottom - the inscription: "20 РУБЛЁЎ" - 20 rubles, the year of issue: 2016 and the silver fineness: "Ag 925".
