    In the central part, two hockey players are depicted performing a face-off. To their left is a two-level inscription: 'XVI. TÉLI OLIMPIAI'. To their right is also a two-level inscription: 'ALBERTVILLE 1992', translating from Hungarian as 'XVI Winter Olympic Games, Albertville 1992'.

    Across the entire surface, five skis of varying lengths are arranged horizontally and parallel to each other. Inscriptions are placed on them. On the top two: 'MAGYAR COZTARSASAG', translating from Hungarian as 'Republic of Hungary'. On the third: '500 FORINT' - 500 forints. On the fourth, the abbreviation 'ВР.' - indicating the Budapest Mint, the engraver's mark of Zoltán Fülöp, and 1989 - the year of minting.
