In the central part, the inscription in three lines: '50 EURO CENT'. To the left of the inscription is the outline of Europe, from which six vertical rays extend upwards and downwards. Along the arc of the left edge of the coin, crossing these rays, are twelve five-pointed stars. To the right of the inscription is the monogram 'LL' - the mark of the engraver Luc Luycx.
Obverse
In the central part, the Triglav mountain range is depicted; above the mountain is the constellation Cancer and, in a semicircle, words from the song by Jakob Aljaž in Slovenian: 'OJ TRIGLAV MOJ DOM', which translates as: 'Oh Triglav, my home'. Along the edge of the coin are twelve five-pointed stars and, alternating with the stars, letters forming the country name Slovenia in Slovenian: 'SLOVENIJA'; at the bottom against the mountain are the mint year 2007 and the mint mark.
