In the central part, the numeral 1 and a two-line inscription: 'EURO CENT' - 1 euro cent. To the left and below, an image of the Earth globe, with the European part highlighted, from which six slanted rays extend upwards and downwards. At the ends of these rays, along the rim, are twelve five-pointed stars. To the right of the Earth, the monogram 'LL' - the mark of engraver Luc Luycx.
Obverse
In the central part, the right-facing profile of Grand Duke Henri. On the truncation of the Duke's shoulder is the mark of engraver Yvette Gastauer-Claire. To the right, above, and left along the rim are twelve five-pointed stars. In the lower part, along the edge of the coin, the name of the state Luxembourg in Luxembourgish: 'LËTZEBUERG' and the mint year 2007, to the left and right of which are the mint master's mark and mint mark.
