Obverse
In the center, within a raised circle, are the main gates of the Belvedere Palace complex. In the gateway opening, the Upper Belvedere and the numeral '20' are visible, below it a stylized Austrian flag, and further below the mint year '2008'. Above, along the inner edge of the circle, the currency name in Latin letters 'EURO CENT'. Around the outer edge, along the rim, are twelve five-pointed stars.
