    In the upper part of the field, a two-line inscription 'EIN KREUTZER' (One Kreuzer). In the lower part, the mint year '1790∙', below it the Latin letter 'S'. The inscriptions are framed by crossed branches tied with a ribbon: on the right a laurel branch, on the left a palm branch. The edge of the coin features decorative raised denticles.

    Centered is the right-facing profile of Holy Roman Emperor Joseph II wearing a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon. Along the arc of the coin's edge is a Latin text: left, top, and right 'IOS∙II∙D∙G∙R∙I∙S∙A∙GE∙HV∙BO∙REX∙A∙A∙' (Joseph II, by the Grace of God, Holy Roman Emperor, King of Germany, Hungary, Bohemia, Archduke of Austria). The border consists of denticles along the rim.
