  • Reverse
    The central part features the denomination—the numeral 20. The denomination is enclosed within a dotted circle. Outside the circle is an inscription: at the top in a semicircle—'ROSSIISKAYA MONETA 1911', at the bottom in a semicircle—'KOPEIK'. The inscriptions are separated from each other by two five-pointed stars.
  • Obverse
    The center of the obverse is occupied by the lesser coat of arms of the Russian Empire—a double-headed eagle. Both heads of the eagle bear crowns, and a third, larger crown is positioned above and between them. All are connected by the ribbon of the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle the First-Called. On the eagle's breast is the Moscow coat of arms—a shield depicting St. George the Victorious with a spear, slaying a dragon. Around the shield is the chain bearing the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle the First-Called. The coats of arms on the wings (four on each wing): Kazan, Polish, Taurida, Astrakhan, Siberian, Georgian, Kiev and Novgorod, Vladimir. In the eagle's right talon is a scepter, and in the left—an orb. Below the tail are the letters 'Э' and 'Б'. Together these letters form the initials indicating the mintmaster, Elikum Babayants.
