Reverse The central part features the denomination—the numeral 20. The denomination is enclosed within a dotted circle. Outside the circle is an inscription: at the top in a semicircle—'ROSSIISKAYA MONETA' (RUSSIAN COIN), at the bottom in a semicircle—'20 KOPEKS'. The inscriptions are separated from each other by two six-pointed stars.
Obverse The center of the obverse is occupied by the lesser coat of arms of the Russian Empire—a double-headed eagle. Both eagle heads bear crowns, and a third, larger crown is positioned above and between them. All are connected by the ribbon of the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle the First-Called. On the eagle's breast is the Moscow coat of arms—a shield depicting St. George the Victorious on horseback, spearing a dragon. Around the shield is the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle the First-Called. The coats of arms on the wings (four on each wing): Kazan, Polish, Tauride, Astrakhan, Siberian, Georgian, Kiev and Novgorod, Vladimir. In the eagle's right talon is a scepter, and in the left—an orb. Below the right talon is the letter 'E', below the left—the letter 'B'. Together these letters form the initials of the mintmaster, Elikum Babayants. Below the central image is the year of mintage—'1911'.
